Lucious Wool

Just for the record, the shearer came on Tuesday and got the job done. I successfully corralled the sheep and goats in their pen so he could grab them one at a time. The night before, I released the baby lambs into the field and they began mixing successfully with the adult animals. All is going according to plan and the kingdom is at peace.

I now have big fluffy piles of Shetland wool and mohair to clean and dye, along with the small bag of pygora from the new goat. I need to decide if I will dye it while it is still wet from washing, or spin it first and dye it as I decide what I want to make with it. For now, it is in piles in the barn because I am not ready to make decisions.

We are heading into a very busy summer schedule and I need to get my act together.
